A busy little 17th month old can get into anything if given just a few minutes alone! My cure? Get her involved. This last week Aven helped with the laundry and with making corn bread for dinner. She actually helped stir the recipe and only dipped her fingers in once! She loved climbing up on the stool and throwing he laundry in the washing machine. She even carried a pile of dirty clothes from her room to the laundry room, climbed up the ladder while holding the clothes and dumped them in! She likes to help and loves to be involved and learn new things. We had fun, even if it was just doing some chores.
